Yes, we certainly do. We do like to discuss your ideas and thoughts initially via phone or email to give you an indication of who we are and how we operate with our fabrics, products etc.
We then make an appointment for Natalie to come to your home with a range of Fabrics to advise and discuss your options further, measure up your windows and decide on Fabrics for the area. It then takes approximately 1-3 days to have a formal Written Quote posted or Emailed to you, which is valid for 21 days.
Once the Quote is Accepted and Deposit is received your orders are placed and we are then in contact with you approx. 4-5 weeks later to arrange either Delivery or Installation with our Qualified Curtain/ Blind Fitter. Final payment is then due once your products are Delivered or Installed.
Generally, we can install your Curtains and/or Blinds in approx. 4-5 weeks from Acceptance of your Written Quote. If you are needing them faster, we will endeavour to work within your time frame.
We do not charge a fee for prospective Clients for our Measure & Quoting Services which is why we like to discuss your thoughts and ideas about your Window Furnishing needs before we visit. Our Written Quotes are Obligation free.
We do have Clients in all areas of Melbourne and surrounding Suburbs. We do deal mainly in the Eastern Suburbs, Yarra Valley & Dandenong Ranges but appointments can be made for visits to the Peninsulas/Gippsland as well. We have a number of clients with Holiday Homes in these areas who we gladly service.
We are very flexible with appointment times and we can offer occasional weekend appointments, depending on your location. Call us to discuss and we will find a time that suits!
We are more than happy to give you an APPROXIMATE idea of costing from House Plans. There are always changes from building Plans to the actual Build which we need you to keep in mind. We often go past and above your windows Architrave sizing and there is usually cabinetry that is added which may change sizing, clearance space etc. We need to Measure & Quote once the buildings Architraves are up and the Flooring type is decided so we can make the necessary allowances. It also gives you a clearer indication of the Space in your new Home and how you are placing your Furniture etc.
It does depend on the product. All items Manufactured by BQ Design are covered by a 3 year warranty on normal usage. Verosol have a 5 year warranty on all of their Blind products.
Yes, we are very fortunate to have an experienced Installer as part of our team. We see this as very important part of the Services we provide at Taits Interiors. We liase with our clients to arrange a convenient Installation Day and Time and love the positive feedback once the job is completed.
